We have to take in to consideration that not all of us has the same metabolism, some of us have slower or faster metabolism. I have gathered here some honest and effective information on how to get thin. This will probably be new to some or might shed a light to others about the belief they’re used to to some of the things listed below. Read on and share this too to your family and friend.

1. No to sugar- I have developed a habit of reading the labels of the products that I buy especially that of food products. When you see these on the product label, run for the hills! Kidding! But really, you should not buy the product per se as this will definitely help you on how to get thin.

Corn Sweetener, Corn syrup or corn syrup solids, Dehydrated can juice, Dextrin, Dextrose, Fructose, Fruit Juice concentrate, Glucose, High Fructose Corn Syrup, Honey, Lactose, Maltodextrin, Malt syrup, Maltose, Maple syrup, Molasses, Raw sugar, Rice syrup, Saccharose, Sucrose, Syrup, Treacle, Turbinado sugar and Xylose.

The reason is that, sugar is highly addictive! And this cause weight gain and obesity. Since it is addictive, it will make you want for more, and the cravings would be endless. If you wean yourself of consuming sugar, then you can be on for a much desirable weight.

2. Do not fall for the “no carb” diet- It is true that reducing the amount of carbohydrates in your diet will help you lean down and lose weight (take note of the word “reducing), so in such case you must include eating fibrous carbohydrates and starchy carbohydrates in your meal, what you must avoid is the refined wheat and grains.

3. Stay away from processed food- We have been told over and over again that processed food doesn’t really do our body any good. The reason is because processed food contains chemicals/ toxins that makes our liver extremely overwhelmed of ridding them, we must not forget that our liver is also responsible in burning body fat, if it is too busy ridding off the toxins that we consumed then most likely it will have no time in ridding your unwanted fats.

4. Hydrate! Hydrate! Hydrate!- You might sometimes feel that no matter how much food you eat, you seem to be always starving, chances are may be you are dehydrated. You might always hear “drink 8-10 glasses of water per day”, this actually is not a principle you should follow, the reality is that you need 1/2 of your body weight in ounces of potable drinking water each day to sustain that your body rids itself of the unwanted fat that you are targeting to lose.

As we grow older our body is more prone in gaining weight because our metabolism seems to slow down, to combat this we must maintain a healthy lifestyle by eating a balanced diet and burning off the calories that we doesn’t need.

My Journey On How To Get Thin

5 years… This is how long my journey is to achieve what I have right now, a healthy lifestyle with a likable body to boast. Mind you, it was no walk in the park as there can never be a shortcut on how to get thin legs or just basically how to get thin overall. The first year was the hardest as I had to totally reschedule “my life”. I actually thought of quitting because I have tried every available solution, drank diet pills, do all that is instructed of me but none of it actually worked.

I was almost in year 2 of my search on how to get thin when I came across The Diet Solution by Isabel Delos Rios, I read her manuals and carefully think through it. I said to myself, this is a good one, I should give it a shot. I started out eliminating all the negative elements in my life that is holding me back to have a better view of what should be rightfully due of me. Then I have set my goal and with the help of will power I was able to break through it. Drinking lots of water, green tea sweetened with stevia or xylitol and coffee (1 cup max per day) sweetened with stevia or xylitol as well, this became a daily regimen for me. Adding a planned meal that follows what is written on The Diet Solution, I was able to slowly adapt to this routine.

3rd year, I had a routine and added some exercise to it as well, not strenuous one but enough to burn off calorie that my body doesn’t need. In my job as a fruit and vegetable gardener, the work alone that I do everyday is already tiring so a little exercise on the sides did the trick of burning out calories.

4th year, I have totally regained the respect of my family and friends, they would now invite me over on a normal basis to have a chit-chat or go to the mall or somewhere with them, unlike when I was like 80 lbs heavier (they avoided me like I have a disease). I have regained my confidence as well, I was able to select clothes without being criticized and I feel lighter and happier.

5th year, all the negativity have completely banished. Some of my friends asked for advice from me on how to get thin. How to get thin is perhaps in the minds of many women in this world. For them, getting thin is the only way to feel good about themselves. I was once in that boat too. But most often, these women forget how it REALLY is to lose weight. It is not all about how to get thin legs or how to get thin thighs quickly. It is a process and a choice of living a healthy lifestyle.

My name is Sylvia. I have my own gardening business and takes good care of my husband and darlings, Sheena (21) and Sarah (17). But ever since I became a mother, I seemed to have forgotten about me, about Sylvia. I let myself go. I gained almost 80 pounds and thought that was ok. I said to myself then: Hey, Sylvia.
